Our site's mailing list form requests users to give us contact information (like their name and email address) and demographic information (like their location, age, marital status, children in household). This information is used to contact the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site. We use this data to examine the occurence of the condition of Encopresis, to aid our own research.

We use an outside ad company to display ads on our site. Ads may contain cookies, and appear to be coming from our site, but in reality they are coming from our partners who are serving ads on our site. Our site does not use cookies. We do not have access to any information about you from cookies you might receive while visiting our site.

Security

Copies of the email address list are stored on two identical removable disks, which are stored separately, securely in our office. There is an encrypted written copy stored at a separate location where there is no access to computers or the internet.

Without prior parental consent, online information will only be used to respond directly to the child's request and will not be used for other purposes without prior parental consent

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor.
